General Information
We actively encourage parents to get involved in their children's learning. We have many parent helpers and are always looking for more.
We provide you with a report on your child's progress three times a year. In the autumn & spring these are in the form of a single page summary along with a parent consultation appointment. Towards the end of the summer term we publish a full academic report.
Teachers are always happy to see parents to discuss their child's progress and learning. This is very difficult first thing in the morning as teachers will be welcoming all of their children into class. There will usually be an adult at the door for you to pass quick messages to but if you need to see your child's teacher for a longer meeting please book an appointment with them via the office or the phase group email account.
We run a parent fundraising group called Friends of Brompton ('FOBs'). Please speak to Mrs Knight in the school office or Mrs Marina Shaftoe (School Home Support) if you are interested in becoming a 'Friend of Brompton' and also visit our page under the 'Community' section of this website.

Absence
If your child is absent from school please either send an email to bromptonabsence@thewestbrooktrust.org stating your child's name, their class, the reason for the absence and the expected date of return by 9am on the first day of absence or call 01634 844152, select option 3 and be ready to give the information listed above. You can, of course, telephone the office before 9am to inform us of an absence if you would prefer.
Attendance
It is important that your child attends school regularly. We publish our term dates well in advance, giving you plenty of time to plan your holidays. Please see our attendance policy as we will no longer authorise holidays during term time, except in exceptional circumstance. Term Dates can be found here
